My experience spans over 20 years in enterprise technology sales management, outsourcing, service delivery, startups, and consulting. With a focus on strong customer relationships, I specialise in structuring large outsourcing transactions, and have built a career helping companies and organisations apply technology to attain goals.

After receiving a Masters in Environmental Science from McGill University in 1993, I joined an IT start-up in Tokyo, which was acquired by outsourcing giant Electronic Data Systems in 1996. I have worked around the world in various roles.

In 2008 I became a stay at home dad to look after my 4 kids.  In my spare time I take on small consulting engagements with clients who can accommodate flexible working arrangements.  I am studying part-time at the University of Southern Queensland.

I am based in Sydney, Australia.

What I can do:

I’m interested in helping with project management, content creation, and IT support for small businesses.  Some things I’ve worked on recently include:

  1. managing the tendering process for the creation of a complex website

  2. writing content for a ‘green’ website

  3. creating a membership growth strategy for a cloud computing organisation

  4. management of a ‘concept to launch’ project for a new business application

  5. creation of simple websites and email accounts for small businesses

  6. basic IT support for small businesses and sole proprietors - setting up hardware and software, getting e-mail and printers to work, etc.

I can be contacted most times of the day, and can respond to emails or create work products from just about anywhere.

What I’m doing:

I spend some of my time consulting and creating content for a new website that will help consumers make Green decisions purely on the merits of personal economic benefit.

Last year I spent about 9 months helping an insurance company to launch a software product from scratch.

I also help some small businesses select and setup hardware, get online, setup email addresses, leverage cloud based services, and solve other simple technical problems.  This allows them to focus on what they do best.  I do it because I enjoy it.  I prefer Macs.
